2026 Memorial Day Ceremony
The American Legion Post 6 and its Auxiliary heartily welcomes members of the VFW, DAV, and the general public, to participate in the 2026 Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at Grand Forks Memorial Park Cemetery North, Monday, 25 May, 0930 - 1015. Please bring your lawn chairs. Some limited seats will be provided. The Grand Forks All-City Band as directed by Janelle Huber will play patriotic numbers both before the ceremony at approximately 0900 and following the Benediction as a tribute to our 250th Anniversary of the founding of these United States. Our Ceremony Keynote Speaker will be the 319th Reconnaissance Wing Deputy Commander, Colonel Brishane A Whitmore. Special THANKS to the community of Grand Forks for their continued and great support in this remembrance.
